Obituary of Robert E. Shoup

Robert E. Shoup Olean, NY Robert E. Shoup of 220 N. 7th St. passed away Sunday (November 6, 2016) in Olean. Born May 30, 1967 in Olean he was the son of the late Donald and Judy Northrup Shoup. He was formerly married to Nita Shoup Boyd with whom he maintained a friendship. Robert was a lifelong resident of Olean and graduated from Olean High School. He had been employed at SubCon Industries and was a janitor for different businesses including the Cattaraugus County Office Building, the Old Library Restaurant, Reid's Food Barn and TOPS. He enjoyed being outside, mowing and playing cards Surviving are his friend and ex-wife Nita Boyd of Olean; Nita's mother Joyce Pierce of Olean who cared for him like her own child; 1 son Robert Shoup, II of Olean; 1 daughter Ayesha Shoup of Olean; 4 brothers Don (Peggy) Shoup, Jr. and Michael Shoup, both of Olean and Dee Jay Shoup and Paul (Tammy) Shoup, both of Allegany and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday (November 11, 2016) from 2-4:00pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean.
