Bonita K. Parker "loving sister and aunt" Olean, NY-- Bonita K. Parker, formerly of Happy Hollow Rd. died Friday (January 31, 2003) in the Bradford Manor in Bradford, Pa. after a long illness. Born July 15, 1945 in Langley Field, Virginia she was the daughter of Sherman L. and Margaret E. Young Parker. Miss Parker had worked for Subcon Industries for several years through The Rehabilitation Center. For several years she lived in the home of Vickie Brucker and Linda Baker. She has always enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her nieces and nephews, and she loved country music. Surviving are 1 sister Margaret (Mark) Schuman of Olean; 1 brother David (Sandra) Parker of Ceres and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by 1 brother Mark Dwayne Parker on March 25, 1959. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean where a prayer service will be held Monday (February 3, 2003) at 9:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Angels Church. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be next to her parents in the veteran’s section of Mt. View Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to The Rehabilitation Center 1439 Buffalo St. Olean, NY 14760.
